High-Performance Computing

Aggregating computing power to deliver a secure, higher performance for computation in order to solve large problems.

HPC4Health is a consortium of health providers started by the University Health Network and The Hospital for Sick Children who build and maintain a virtualized compute infrastructure with high levels of security for health-related computation. HPC4Health accepts new member health research institutes to use the platform and works with others to deploy the system built elsewhere.

The Health AI Data Analytics Platform (HAIDAP) is a collaboration between HPC4Health, ICES and Vector with support from Compute Ontario to create a secure, regulatory compliant research computing environment in which AI and machine learning techniques can be used and ultimately creating a unique, world-class AI data platform.
